Solo Exping

I touched on this briefly before, but sometimes, Blue Mage can be very broken! This weekend was a series of deaths on BLU for me... Two deaths in Limbus, including one which nobody was available to Raise, multiple deaths on Dancer during the Soboro run (I need more practice in hate management for long NM fights on DNC), and a few two deaths, including one HP when trying to farm Asuran Claws.

I usually like to keep a 10k exp buffer on BLU in case of deaths... Dying seems to be a pretty frequent occurance with Limbus and Assault, and with this weekend's activities, I was down to 2k! Enough to delevel with another death! Normally I'd go campaign to get this back, but I've been campaigning on DNC lately (100exp to level 63!) so instead, I decided to go solo for a bit! Caedarva Mire was surprisingly empty when we ran through it earlier in the afternoon, so I went there to solo some imps. I'd gone before with Zuzu and Dexie the week before and got some pretty good results.

Still, I wasn't quite ready for these results...

This is solo with Emperor's Band and with Besieged at level 8, so probably the highest exp bonus possible. I can consistently get to chain #4, but Chain #5 is just outside my reach. It's not like I have good gear either... most of my gear is from AH, or easily obtained. Half the gear I used was AF! I finished the Emperor's Band in about 30 minutes and got a merit, plus got my buffer back up to where I wanted it last night :)
