DRG nearly complete, lack of DNC, Limbus over

Let's see... been over a week since my last post, so... here's a brief update:

Dragoon
DRG73 now, just 2 more levels, or about 77k exp left to go till 75. I'll probably get a buffer before switching to merit mode, though this time around, I'll probably stop at 10-15k instead of my normal 25k buffer.

DRG/SAM at 70+ is a lot more fun with the ability to switch between Hasso and Seigan. In last night's party, I was intentionally WSing early and using Third Eye to try to avoid damage as much as I could and rarely used Super Jump. I'm guessing that this is what the job really is like at 75, plus the occasional Angon for big fights. I'm generally liking it as there are enough "buttons to push", though tactically wise, it's pretty brainless... Either do as much damage as possible with appropriate job abilities and jumps, or survive and jump out of the way.

I've considered taking DRG out to events... 73 is almost there... but truthfully, the main reason I don't want to yet is that... my gear right now looks super-ugly xD At least at 75 I'll get some better armor to use... too bad it's all 75-only!

Big thanks to everyone who replied to my DRG gear post, whether through the comments or privately with /tells... so, based on talking to everyone, I've picked up the following

Weapon: Thal is good, try for a Fey Lance for something cheaper that would match Thal's performance. Would need to setup a group to do this... anyone wanna try for more fey weapons?
WS gear/Str: Bring in as much STR as possible for this. Ruby Ring (Str+4) for 45k is reasonable. Flame Ring for 700k is not xD. Pick up a Millefleurs sachet for another Str+1, macro in Warwolf Belt, etc. Grab some Hecatomb gear. Grab some sea gorgets x.x
WS-gear/accuracy: Weap points out that Penta and other multi-hit WS would benefit more from accuracy gear depending on the situation. Definitely something that needs some experimentation. May want to swap in the Potent Belt instead for Penta
Healing Breath: I haven't done any soloing since the 30s, so these macros desperately need updating... Teia and Weap both point out that the effectiveness of Healing Breath depend on Wyvern HP, as well as my HP. I knew about the trigger HP levels for myself, but I had not considered macroing in +HP gear to get to that level artifically. I didn't even know that how much healed depended on the Wyvern's HP level either. Once I hit 75, I'll have to play with these macros and start experimenting.

Lack of Dancer
Not sure if anyone's noticed, but I haven't been on Dancer for the last few weeks... mainly out of laziness since for most events, people prefer that I come on PLD or SCH, so I don't bother changing jobs too much. The other main reason is that DNC really excels in low-man events or small groups, neither of which I've done much of lately.

The other sad part about DNC is that I think I've figured out what happened to Roundel Earrings. The last Roundel Earring sold on the Hades AH was at the end of September. Prior to this it was selling at a decent rate, about 2-3 sold every month, then suddenly it stopped completely. My guess is that SE succeeded in banning enough of the RMT that the ones that previous did importing of the Roundel Earring from other servers to sell at a higher price were all banned, preventing this from being brought in.

And... since Hades sucks at campaign (can't blame us... even I don't do campaign anymore since it's so boring), there's no chance of us getting the earring natively since the campaign op that drops it is never available. Soooo... chances are close to nil that I'd get a Roundel Earring unless I somehow managed to convince someone from another server to transfer one over... somehow...

Which means I can probably take my gil and spend it elsewhere... Hecatomb stuff is expensive, so... maybe there ~.~

Limbus Over
Last Saturday was the last meeting for Shinjiku, the Limbus LS that... I don't know who founded, but it was my first "endgame" event ever. I had just reached sea on my "not quite 75" BLU as my first job when I joined in to take a look and get a Brutal Earring. Well, 1 1/2 years later, full homam and seeing at least 5, maybe 6 full homam sets completed, as well as numerous other people getting random pieces, the LS finally disbanded.

Pity really... we had the low-man Omega down to an art... 2x tanks, 1x RDM/DRK, 1x healer, 1x BRD, 3x BLM and maybe 1 random melee damager was enough to take Omega down consistently. Any extra people beyond that would simply ensure that we could kill it without taking any deaths.

Sad part is that it died rather suddenly. I was hoping to have some of the newcomers take over the basic farming portion, with the old-timers popping in to help with hard zones and for Omega. It only takes 5 people to effectively farm the chips necessary from all the zones. Fuuji had already gone on the "semi-retired" state for a while, Vanh was taking a break from FFXI for his house stuff, and we were able to farm the chips until recently. What suddenly changed was in November, we had two members take "take a month off" -- aka "quit". We knew about that, and it wasn't too big of a deal since we had enough people and mules to carry on. What ended up killing things was that two other regular members suddenly disappeared without warning and stopped logging into FFXI. Down to 3 regular members and two semi-regular, there was no way to continue. After trying for 2 straight weeks, we called it and decided to disband amiably (for the most part... though one of the newer members was "pissed at saving points").

So, that makes for the 2nd FFXI event that I used to do that has been successfully shut down. Nyzul was the first, though we do have the option of starting that up again if people are interested. Still, getting more free time back is always good! Especially since I'm heavy into other non-FFXI games now xD

For other events I'm semi-running... I doubt ZNMs will go away anytime soon! That's still going strong, and unfortunately drop rates are low enough that we'll be plugging away at that for a long time before people start to be satisfied. And... that's it! Everything else I go to is run pretty much by Rooks :)

DRG equip at 75

So, I figure the 3 readers of my blog (Hi!) might want to read something less depressing than how SE and FFXI has been sucking lately so I decided to put together something more forward thinking, as well as ask for some help!

Exping on DRG has been pretty fun for me so far... unfortunately, as many people have told me, DRG really does not get much equipment during exp levels. It's not until 75 that DRG gets good gear, which suits me just fine since I don't like buying too much gear while leveling only to just sell it later xD

DRG69 now, just 6 left till 75, so I'm looking a little ahead at 75 and looking for advise on how to gear up this new job. It's my first melee-type DD, so I have a feeling that I'm probably not considering some aspects of a DD job at all xD

Sooo... here's the gear I have and think I'll end up using at 75... if you have suggestions on easy replacements, like AH gear or similar, let me know in the comments.

Weapons
* Main - Thalassocrat - DMG:94, Delay: 492, HP+10, Dex+2, Vit+2, Effect: Impairs Evasion
About 220-300k on AH... not too bad to get I guess? I still need to buy this at some point
* Sub - Pole Grip - Double Attack +2%
I'm told this is the standard grip for 2H DDers?
* Ammo: Tiphia Sting - HP-25, Accuracy+2, Attack+2, Evasion -2
I macro this in for DNC whenever I'm not pulling, so it just made sense to use it on DRG

Armor
* Head - Askar Zucchetto
* Body - Askar Korazin
* Hands - Homam Manopolas
* Legs - Homam Cosciales
* Feet - Homam Gambieras
This is my "PLD in campaign" armor set. Mainly the Haste & Accuracy pieces from homam (9% haste & +14 accuracy), plus the Haste/Double attack pieces from Askar (+4% Haste & +2% Double Attack). Oh, and some +str & attack thrown in as well. I guess a patchwork set of armor is the norm?

Accessories
* Earrings: Brutal Earring (Double Attack & Store TP) & Fowling Earring (Str+1, Accuracy+3)
Currently, I'm using Spike & Minuet. I figure Fowling would be a good replacement for Minuet Earring for cases where there isn't a BRD around, though... I'm wondering if I should still keep the Minuet Earring for when there is a BRD? Brutal Earring just seems to make sense with the double attack enhancements
* Neck: Love Torque (Dex+5, Polearm skill +7)
Got this in the day of epic lootwhoring with TO xD Nice part is that it also has +dagger skill, so it applies to DNC as well. I do not have the sea gorgets for DRG (only have Soil Gorget). I'm wondering if I should full-time the Love Torque, or switch to Chiv chain for WSing?
* Rings: Rajas (+5 Str, Dex, StoreTP) & Blood Rings
Rajas seems like the ultimate DD ring... For the 2nd slot, my standard for any melee job is the Blood Ring. Might consider keeping the Ecphoria Ring on if the +1 Store TP makes a difference somehow.
* Belt: Swift Belt (+3 accuracy, +4 haste, -5 attack) with Warwolf Belt (Str, Dex, Vit+5) macroed in for WS.
Haste for general meleeing, then switching to something that hits harder for WS. On DNC, I macro in my Nu Sash (+10 accuracy) for WS... maybe I should switch to using Warwolf for DNC WSing as well
* Back: Amemet Mantle +1 (Str+2, Attack+15)
Standard melee piece?

and... of course, the nice part is that other than the Thalassocrat, I have everything on the list above already for my other jobs, so DRG really hasn't taken up that much inventory space.

There's also some other situational gear that I didn't list above such as:
* Dragoon's Earring - Chance to use angon without depleting. Enhances wyvern's "breath" accuracy
This is a weird one... I can see how you're supposed to use this with Angon, macro it in before you use the Angon ability, but how would you use it for a wyvern breath? Put it on before you WS to trigger the breath? Put it on right after the WS goes off, but hopefully before the breath goes off? I'm not sure on the timing on how to use this effectively
* Ethereal Earring - Attack +5, HP+15, Converts 3% of damage taken to MP
For /mage use... this should effectively allow DRGs to go on forever when soloing... or so I'm lead to believe?
* Various AF/relic gear
Not that I have any relic yet, but at least the AF gear can be macroed in for Jumps, and for Healing Breath... I really should figure out how to use the Drachen Mail's "Wyvern Regen" effect to keep Lumiere alive better xD

Anyone have other suggestions on stuff to get?

Whee... more frustration in FFXI

Sooo... let's see what happened last night.

Kirin failure with Impact... can't say too much about this since I don't really know much about how the sky mobs work and what possible strategies there are to fix this... but this wasn't the game's fault.

The frustrating parts came after that... let's see.

ZNMs: Lots more junk drops from Achamoth, Sarameya and even Iriz Ima -.-;

Achamoth: Not a single drop anyone wishlisted... no Organics, no Aurum boots, just a pair of Oracle legs that have been freelot for a long time now. I can't remember the last Aurum boots we got -.-;

Sarameya: Even with a blotched Bard rotation, we still took him down with little trouble and got... nothing but freelot caps. No Hachiryu as usual, but not even a Foolkiller or that silly -accuracy Great Katana. Failed 2x COR reset rolls. which was a 44.4% possibility, so we could not go a 2nd time. At least we got a 2nd PW pop item (Fuuji is planning a strategy to take PW down... be patient! Maybe it'll be a good Christmas for us)

Oh, and for those who wanted to go a 2nd time without Soul Voice, the main reason behind it is that the math doesn't add up... To get a single Sarameya pop, we need:
3x T1 = 3000 zeni
3x T2 = 6000 zeni
3x T3 = 9000 zeni
1x T4 = 4000 zeni
Total: 22,000 zeni - Not counting the time spend to kill all the mobs before this... at least 3 weeks worth of work and waiting to get the pop set together. Failing means that we've just wasted all this time.

Going a week later means that we use 18x500 zeni = 9000 zeni, plus just one fight time, much cheaper compared to failing once. I'd want each time we fight a T4 to be one where we go 100% for the win.

Finally... Iriz Ima that dropped... Earth Crystals -.- wow... not even ANYTHING to freelot.

Wonder if ZNMs are affected by Candy.

ASA
On Sunday, I went to Windurst to get the initial cutscenes for the new Shantotto expansion using the "ease of exploration" Kupower since it was easy... I'm not really looking forward to doing this expansion, but I figure it's like... I dunno... doing the CoP missions where it's a chore that has to be done eventually.

So... immediately after the initial cutscenes, you're sent to yet another fetch quest to get things from stupid low-level dungeons in all 3 starter regions, synth them, then go buy some stuff from the AH to do a final synth that ends with an EX item so you have to do the synth yourself.

Let's say... I may not even bother with this expansion due to stupid things like:
So... ya, not only do you have to go on a stupid fetch quest around the world to gather stupid things from mobs (even with a high drop rate, that's hours of travel), then by the time you're done, you can go fail the synth and do it ALL OVER AGAIN.

Ya... **** you SE.

Losing interest... even with a new expansion

Mmmm... so the new expansion is out... so is a new update with lots of little things broken, as well as new WotG content and new shinies... but I'm not really feeling too motivated to touch any of it... why not?

Let's see...

Expansion Rush
Unlike the initial release of WotG, these mini-expansions had less of a "let's explore and see what we can find" feel and more of a HNM camping feel to get drops from various mobs... Right after the mini-expansions are released, there will be many people out there voking mobs just to get their drops necessary to progress in the expansion content to get it over with as soon as possible.

Not my idea of fun sitting around in a dungeon on a 16-minute respawn timer to try to get claim on level 5 mobs.

Plus, there's the little annoyance of item inflation due to the items needed for the expansion... Earth Crystals are now 2k each... which is kinda funny since a stack of Earth Crystals also sells for the same amount.

However, there is the annoyingly fine balance between going too early and having to deal with unnecessary bottlenecks and competition, and going too late when everyone else has finished the expansion and does not want to touch it EVER again. There's also the issue of people figuring out too much about the expansion and starting to limit themselves (4x SAM, 2x WHM onry!) on strategies to pull off the win if you wait too long.

I dunno... just thinking about ASA is already making me feel like I don't want to touch it with a 10' pole. I guess I'll probably end up doing it sometime in the near future if I can gather a team of people who want to do it... right now, just about everyone I know is holding off.

WotG content
This is an annoying one... at least for me... It's been a few months since Vanh & I completed the content that they had out at the time... I don't even remember what's happening plot wise... erm... Lilisette fought off one of the Cait Siths I think... I can't even remember where I am in the Bastok mission-quest, though at least I know I'm up-to-date on Sandy/Windy.

I think the worst part about this is that even if I wanted to proceed, I wouldn't know who to invite or where everyone is. Because of the way the missions are structured, you pretty much have to go back and help many people through the various parts of the different nations... At least I have a slight advantage where I have significant progress in all 3 nation storylines so I *should* be able to help out whoever is out there... but I know many people are still far behind. i.e.: Tasya & Karou are only just past the Battle of Jeuno.

I don't even know where to start gathering people for this one. At least for ASA, we're at a common starting ground.

New shinies/content
Well, lots of shinies in this update... I dunno, some new modifiable armor/weapon system that's better than the Fey Weapons (supposedly... have to see), as well as tons of new NMs out there in almost every zone for you to camp and get new items.

This is a weird one for me. Normally, I'd be excited to hear about new items and want to go out there and think of the possibilities. This time, however, it's really pushing the wrong buttons on me.

For starters: Some of the items are simply dropped from random NMs that roam the zones... back to the original conditions of camping NMs. Even with short repop times, I just hate this method of obtaining items as it's a simple (aka lazy programmers) random pop, random drop % method designed to keep people addicted to it rather than something more logically laid out with a tangible possibility of reward at the end. Maybe that's why I like the Limbus Ancient Beastcoins and Einherjar Ichor methods that aren't random...

What did bug me the most, however, is how some items in this update completely blow away other items. Yes, I know it's hard to balance the reward system so that you'd encourage people to go take part in these new events instead of simply going to the older systems, but... some moderation? I found a nice pair of feet equip that completely blows away Enkidu's Leggings for DNC... Really puts a damper on the former achievement of completing the Enkidu's set, and now I guess I'll be a "gimp" Dancer unless I get these boots?

Ya, I know equipment doesn't determine performance... but it does help. It just annoys me mildly... I should probably stop thinking about DNC equipment and just fool around on it too. I mean, that's how I treat my other jobs... I don't really have good gear, nor do I put that much effort into them but I still have fun xD

Speaking of fun...
... I'm getting really burnt out on some parts of the game... specifically, Limbus & ZNMs where we've been at it for a while, at the point where we're almost throwing stuff away... I guess doing the same thing week after week is taking it's toll. I'd really like to take a step away from Limbus at least... ZNMs still has a little bit of variety in it, especially when people try different things like Rooks tanking the whole charmed alliance for fun!

For other events...
- Kinda burnt out on gil farming at the moment... especially discouraged since even though I've finally made enough to buy a Roundel Earring, I can't find one anywhere on the server to buy... oh well, at least I have enough gil to buy almost anything I want at the moment
- Einherjar - Even though the timing is wrong on this event for my RL stuff, it's still one of the few events I enjoy since every time you get a surprise for the mobs, and have to change tactics on the fly.
- Dynamis - Definitely routine... I'm still not burnt out on this, partially cos I get to rotate around various jobs as I feel like, and with our recent attendance problems, I'm... ironically, feeling a little more excited to see what we can pull off with fewer people. Being the sole PLD for a dynamis run adds to the excitement, at least for me... and the need to focus
- Sea - Still not routine for me... I've been mainly SCH & PLD for the main fights here, though I've come BLU as well for some interesting applications in stunning, nuking and self-SCing. I still haven't experienced all the fights in all roles yet, and tanking JoL is still pretty fun to me xD
- Exp - So... I guess... erm... the older jobs all felt like this to me... There's nothing between level 60 and 75 for DRG. It's the same thing no matter what. No new job abilities, WS's, or even anything from different subjobs. I'm starting to get bored of exping already (bad sign) especially since I ran out of Hulu shows to watch while exping!

Ironically, the only thing I'm really looking forward to right now is finishing DRG up and bringing it to events for a change of role and pace. Kinda like how I wanted to bring PLD to everything after I finished leveling it for some freshness... hopefully I'll stay interested in the game long enough to get there ~.~

Other stuff
Some other fun stuff that isn't directly FFXI-related...

- JP-onry attitude continues in FFXIV - So... if you buy FFXIII, you can get a "campaign code" that will give you a "limited in-game item" for FFXIV... IF and ONLY IF you're buying the Japan version... and... who knows, might not work with any account other than JP. XIV isn't even in beta yet and they're already showing preference over there.
- Facebook is now a rock-solid alibi! - Make sure you use Facebook to get your story straight! Twitter isn't reliable as a "get out of jail free" card.
- Just about everyone in AlphaPrime is playing Modern Warfare 2 :o
- I have a crazy high backlog of games -.-;

Let's see... not counting the 1TB of anime sitting on a USB HDD, I have... just off the top of my head:
- Batman: Arkham Asylum
- Armored Core: For Answer
- Resident Evil 5
- Final Fantasy: Dissidia
- LittleBigPlanet
- Modern Warfare 2
unopened... and...
- Star Ocean 4
- Super Smash Bros.
- Fallout 3
- Mirror's Edge
uncompleted...

and... more in my backlog. At least I recently finished Halo: ODST so that's one off my list...

/sigh... there just aren't enough days in a week.

The rat race

*This is another off-topic, non-FFXI post... those who aren't interested in my ramblings and ranting may want to skip this one*

Here is the life cycle of a "successful" person as per most people's standards in the developed world:

1. Age 1-4: Blissful unaware of surroundings, having fun playing with toys and watching Bob the Builder
2. Age 5-18: K-12 education, finish with high school diploma, preferably with tons of As and AP course credit
3. Age 18-22: Undergrad education at some university. Study to be lawyer, doctor, scientist with the goal of landing a "real job"
4. Age 22-25: Go to grad school and get a Masters, or work your way up through the chain in the rat race. Really smart people may extend grad school all the way to age 30 if they get a Ph.D
5. Age 24-28: Get married, have your first kid, buy a house and get in debt for the next 30 years
6. Age 28-45: Raise your kids, dedicate 18 years of your life working at your job, sending your kid to soccer practice, ballet lessons, summer camps and vacations at Legoland
7. Age 45-55: Mid-life crisis as you realize that you haven't done anything with yourself. Spend lots of money that you've built up
8. Age 55-65: Realize that you've spent all your money during your mid-life crisis and need to save up to "retire"
9. Age 65-death: Retire... which consists of sitting around the house as your money is now being spent on medical bills and you're no longer in any shape to go out and do anything fun since your best years were spent working your butt off to pay for your house and kids

Basically, you spend 18 out of your first 22 years out of your life to prepare to work, have about 2-4 years where you have fun on your own, after which you are expected to get married, buy a house, and have kids. After which you'll spend the next 20ish years to raise the next generation of house-buying consumers. Once you're done with your kids, you'll be just about old enough to retire, maybe, if your kids haven't sucked all the money out of you and the planet doesn't blow up around you.

I don't know... I've been chugging along with this train for a while now, the "grown-up" steps aren't looking that attractive to me... Let's take a look at them one at a time:

Buying a house
Ok, so this is the "American Dream" to be your own homeowner... So you save up every cent you have from the first few years of working to scrape together a down-payment. You then take out a huge loan which will take you between 15-30 years to pay back. If you're doing things "the right way", you'll be spending every cent you make to buy the biggest, most run-down house in a nice neighborhood and live eating ramen and staying at home in order to make your payments since you can't afford to go out to have fun. Oh ya, you'll also be doing all the maintenance in the house, gardening, plumbing, painting, as well as doing lots of upgrades so that you can eventually sell your first house and move up to something bigger for your kids... Oh ya, don't forget a nice school district too!

Of course this is the smart thing to do! Your monthly payments may be larger than paying rent, but at least you're not "pissing your money away" by paying a landlord... I mean, you're building equity! Housing only goes up and never down! Who cares about the property taxes that you have to pay to the government every year... they're tax-deductible! As well as the interest that you pay to the bank and the money you spend on maintaining and upgrading your house. I mean, you have nothing but time to spend on putting in the elbow grease, right? Since you can't afford to go out for fun, may as well spend your time on your house!

Sooo... basically for your early years, you're supposed to work your butt off, eat ramen, sink every cent you make into your house... Oh, and also spend your spare time upgrading the house so that you can move up and upgrade to something else in the future. Don't think too much about going on vacation as you can't afford it.

Personally, I never really understood the draw of owning a house. It comes with too many annoyances and responsibilities. You have to clean the gutters, do all sorts of maintenance work, and depending on where you live, the amount of money spent on maintaining it together with property taxes won't come anywhere near rent. (Average home here costs $634k. This means a down-payment of about $120k to get started, and a $400k loan with a monthly payment of $2,500+ over 30 years. I'm not talking about the $100k homes in the mid-west. Add to that property tax@1.25% = $8k/year, and of course, maintenance costs...)

Getting married/having kids
So... who made it a rule that says that you HAVE to get married and have 2.5 kids? The whole system is set up to benefit those who are married with kids... Property taxes go into schools, government gives you tax breaks for every kid you pop out... taxes are less for those married (in certain cases).

I'm pretty sick of this expectation that any adult needs to be married with kids. Have you seen how annoying kids are with their projectile vomiting, constant crying and whining, and high costs? Plus it's not like you can give them away like a pet... you're stuck with them for 22+ years! And you're supposed to spend all your formerly free time to bring them around to swimming, soccer, music, ballet, math, science, politics, powerpoint and foreign language lessons or else you're a bad parent! Not to mention the huge carbon footprint that having even a single kid means to the poor planet! We really should make all parents pay for carbon credits whenever they have children!

Oh ya... and there's that whole marriage thing where you're basically tying yourself down to a pre-grown kid... that part sucks too :(

School/work
Ok, this is an annoying pet peeve... for the average person, you spend 80% of your life studying, then working your butt off in order to save up for retirement. You get maybe 2-3 weeks of vacation a year... or about 4% of your life during this time for "you" time. The rest of it is spent either sleeping, doing your chores and other various things to keep yourself alive in order for your job to make full use of you.

Am I the only one who want to break the cycle right now and just take it easy and play games?

Plus... if you're one of the privileged ones, you don't even need to participate in this rat-race... For sitting around and twiddling your thumbs, your agents, whether hired staff, or self-maintaining income sources, have probably brought in more money than the average person will make in a lifetime... while 99.99% of the population slaves their entire lives to bring these privileged few their luxuries.

---

Mmmm... random annoyances I have with the world as a whole... I'd love for there to be a revolution to turn this stupid rat-race upside down! Maybe in the future I'll do another post with my pet peeves!

---

Oh ya... there was some silly FFXI update... not touching any of that... too crowded, too many bugs, and stupid SE broke (censored) and (censored) so I'm nowhere near 100% effective and not really in the mood to play an ugly game. Plus the new content is just stupid fetch quests with an added synth that has a high failure % rate with a high chance of breaking everything you spent the last 4 hours farming against 20 other people anyway!

Ya... apparently ASA sucks even more than the other two expansions... from what I've heard! And there's price gouging on the AH items associated with it... Shihei prices are up thanks to the expansion using items from it. I've done my part and RMT'ed the Nexus Cape, but I don't think I'll be touching expansion content until at least the weekend, or more likely after Thanksgiving. Plus I really don't feel like camping NMs against 50 other people who are going after the same items... even with a 1-2 hour repop time, I hate NM campign with a passion.

If I were a good...

If I were a good Blue Mage...
- I'd probably have some +str gear for physical spells
- I'd probably have a +HP set for Breath spells
- I might even have a +def set for Cannonball!
- Crazily enough, I might even have a +chr build for Eyes on Me
- ... and a +dex build for specific spells
- ... and a magical nuking build that includes +int
- and macro in accuracy gear for Head Butt

If I were a good Scholar...
- I'd have a lot more -enmity gear
- I'd have some +cure potency stuff
- I'd get a Refresh body and macro it in for when Sublimation is down or fully charged
- I'd have some +int gear for nuking
- ... and more HQ staves

If I were a good Paladin...
- I'd have a lot more -damage stuff
- My shield skill would be capped, and I'd have more +shield gear
- I'd have some sort of +movement speed gear
- ... and would macro in +cure gear for curing
- ... and a ton more +HP gear

If I were a good Dragoon...
- I'd definitely have more +str gear
- I'd have macros to put in +HP gear for healing breath
- I'd macro in my AF helm for offensive nukes somehow
- ... and wouldn't be using level 25 armor at 65!

annnnnnnnd... if I were a good any of the above, I'd have more merits in each job instead of just the basics!

If I were a good Dancer...
- I'd have a Roundel Earring... if only...
Well, truthfully, I think I'm okay at Dancing, so that's what you get!

/hurray for RMT!

Fast post just to show off SE's new RMT item.

I'm going to be evil and hotlink directly into SE's website:
Item: Nexus Cape, Lv. 30, Enchantment: Teleport (Party Leader)

Basically... the ultimate travel piece. Afk wherever you want, wait for the party leader to get there, then teleport there...

And only obtainable by buying all the expansion packs... mmm.... I'm guessing that ugly pants aren't enough to get people to buy the last expansion? xD
